Weddings by Picnic

Our name belies our style a bit. Picnic sounds casual, but your wedding can be anything you dream it to be if you choose to work with us. We love doing weddings, and we’ve got a client roster of very satisfied couples that we’re happy to share with you.

We’ve catered weddings for New York socialites, country brides, even senior citizens! At Picnic, there is no limit to your vision for your big day! We’ve designed menus that recreate a Tuscan outdoor gathering, a winter wonderland, a Mediterranean feast, an American harvest dinner, elegant cocktail events and much, much more.

Working with Picnic is a breeze. We’ll sit down and I will listen. Once you have explained your vision, I will create four or five menus within the budget. After, we’ll discuss your likes and dislikes and finally, come up with your ideal menu.

You’ll then come in and have a tasting of your menu to ensure it is what you desire. After that, you can sit back and relax while we take care of everything else, from rentals to working with the photographer, the florist, and the planner (if you use one).

We are the preferred caterer at a number of venues, and if you are looking for a site for the reception, we can work together on that as well. We also work together with a number of vendors, who we recommend and love…

• For photography... I always recommend Lilian Haidar, www.lilianhaidar.com. Her photos say it all. And, she is so unobtrusive that I only know she is there when I’m looking for her. The photo journalistic approach of her work coupled with her unique eye makes her one of the most sought-after photographers around.
